Piku wins six awards at 'BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2015'

The film collected six awards in the following categories:

• Best Actor of the Year- Amitabh Bachchan
• Best Actress of the Year- Deepika Padukone
• Most Entertaining Actor in a Drama Role- Amitabh Bachchan
• Most Entertaining Actress in a Drama Role- Deepika Padukone
• Most Entertaining Drama Film
• Big Star Nayee Soch Film of the Year

Piku, which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of 2015 and has been critically acclaimed globally, was directed by Shoojit Sircar and top lined by actors Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. The film has been on a winning spree since August this year, having already bagged top honours at the Indian Film Festivals of Australia, Russia and Japan.
