Ajith moves from Mumbai to Bengaluru

Ajith moves from Mumbai to Bengaluru

Ajith Vishnuvaradhan's untitled film took off early this month in Mumbai. The film is said to have been shot on a fast phase though the team did face some problems while shooting as moonsoon had set in. About 25% of the film is said to have been completed.

The film's shooting has now been shifted to the Garden City after wrapping the first schedule in Mumbai. The team has been shooting on a tight packed schedule. Ajith, Nayanthara, Atul Kulkarni and Mahesh Manjrekar will be part of the shoot. Arya and Taapsee will join the team on a later schedule. Music is scored by Yuvan.

Sowcar Janaki is back!

Veteran actress Sowcar Janaki is making a comeback to the Big Screen after almost 15 years. The actress who has acted in notable films like Pudhiya Paravai, Pachai Villakku, Parthal Pasi Theerum, Thillu Mullu has acted in about 385 films including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. 

At 81, the yesteryear actress has been signed for a significant role in a film titled 'Vaanavarayan Vallavarayan' to be directed by Rajmohan. Krishna of 'kazhugu' fame plays the lead. The actress seems to be happy about donning the grease paint after a long gap and excited with her role as well.

Taapsee confirms Sundar C project

Taapsee Pannu is a happy actor these days as she signed a couple of Tamil films and her career is in upswing in Tollywood. The hot siren is part of Ajith Vishnuvaradhan's untitled flick. The svelte beauty has signed the dotted line for her next project 'Madha Gaja Raja' opposite Vishal to be directed by Sundar C.

Taapsee has replaced Karthika who was initially roped in for the role and opted out of the film later. The actor had tweeted, "So now that all formalities are over I can confirm that yes I'm doing Sundar sir's movie opposite Vishal and will start shooting for it next week." Varalakshmi Sarathkumar plays the other lead.

My Name is Nani (Tamil version)

Naan Ee is the most awaited graphical extravaganza directed by S.S. Rajamouli of 'Magadheera' fame. The film is set to hit the screens on July 6. Samantha, Sudeep and Nani play the lead roles. The film will release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Recently a promo song 'My Name is Nani' (Eega) was released. Checkout the Tamil version 'Nani En Peru'.
