Seeman had approached Vijay for a project and the actor who had liked the script had given a green signal to the director. However, later the film titled 'Pagalavan' didn't materialize as Vijay had opted out for unknown reasons. The director is determined to go ahead with the project as he is confident that the script will definitely strike an impact among the audience.

Seeman is in the lookout for a suitable lead to essay Vijay's role. The latest buzz is the happening hero of Kollywood Jiiva has been approached for the role and the director is optmistic that Jiiva will agree. Jiiva is currently shooting for NEP and Mugamoodi. He will then join director Ahamed for Endrendrum Punnagai opposite Trisha.

Arya and Nayanthara pair up!!!

Nayanthara who is back with a bang is one of the most sought after actor in South. The hot actress has lately signed a project to pair opposite Arya for the second time after Boss Engira Baskaran. The film is directed by Atlee, who happens to be a former assistant to Shankar and produced by Fox Star Studios.

Nayanthara is busy shooting for projects in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Arya on the other hand has is plate full with a line up of projects. The duo who are playing the leads in Ajith's film directed by Vishnuvaradhan will then join for this project after completing their respective commitments. 

Gibraan for Dhanush

Gibran was highly appreciated for giving a wonderful musical score in his debut film 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa'. The music composer is set to score the music for Dhanush's next film with director Sargunam. Sargunam of 'Kalavaani' and 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame has roped in Dhanush to play the lead in his next film 'Sotta Vazhakutty'. The film will be a mix of romance and comedy set in the village backdrop. The film will go on floors soon.

Bindhu Madhavi replaces Karthika

The remake of 'Sattam Oru Irutarai' by Vijay's 'Ghilli Films' has been facing lot of hurdles since the lead actor Vikram Prabhu opted out of the film. The film has completed one schedule in Pondicherry after which the film struggled to progress further as the lead stars Vikram Prabhu and Karthika walked out. 

The obstacles as such is said to have been cleared as a new face Thaman Kumar as been roped in for the lead and Bindhu Madhavi has replaced Karthika. With the cast in place the shooting is expected to take off soon without any further hindrances. The film is directed by debutant Sneha under the supervision of director S.A. Chandrasekhar.

Cocktail - Deepika in "Daaru Desi"

Daaru Desi is the second promo song from Cocktail. The song has registered 2 million views within 2 weeks on Youtube and currently the hot trend in Hindi. Director Homi Adajania explains the context of the fun-filled song as the one which explores the chemistry and bonding between the three friends. It's like they are on Daaru Desi and time means nothing. 

However, Deepika in the making video says that "The moments in the song are really nice and there's chemistry between the co-stars. On a song level, I don't really like it.". Saif says in the video "I HATE this song, let's move on from it!". In an attempt to achieve Kolaveri scale popularity, stars are trying to arouse curiosity by claiming that they don't really like the song.
