Will Kareena storm Kollywood?

SJ Surya is determined to make his next film a hit and is bound to bring in all the necessary elements that would help him achieve his target. The actor-director has turned music director for his next musical thriler 'Isai'. He has undergone music training for almost 5-6 months before beginning the composition for his film. 

SJ Suryah who has an good ear for music is confident that his tracks will rock the charts. He is also planning to rope in A.R. Rahman to sing one of his tracks. The latest buzz is the director wants Kareena Kapoor to dance for a peppy track. Kareena is said to have been approached by SJ Surya. Interestingly, Kareena had worked with SJ Surya in the Hindi remake of Khushi and the question is will she agree to SJ Surya's request? Her recent appearance in Rowdy Rathore created a lot of buzz among audience. Will the same repeat for Isai? Let's wait for an official announcement.

Sony bags Poda Podi audio

STR's 'Poda Podi' is getting ready for its release. The post production work is going on in full swing and the film is expected to hit the screens in July / August. A single track 'Love Pannalama' penned by STR is to be released soon.

The audio rights of Poda Podi has been acquired by Sony Music. There are six tracks and the music has been scored by Dharan. Directed by Vignesh Siva, the film stars STR, Varalakshmi SarathKumar in lead roles. 

Cheran ropes in Santhanam!!!

Cheran who has been missing from direction is all thrilled to kick start his next project soon. The actor-director has decided to stay behind the camera this time. The film has been titled 'JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai' starring Saravanand of 'Engeyum Eppothum' fame and Nithya Menon of '180' fame. Cheran's was appreciated for his performance as JK in Yudham Sei. It's not sure whether the film's title has drawn inspiration from his role. 

The happening comedy actor from Kollywood, Santhanm has been roped in this project. G.V. Prakash will score the music while Siddharth will handle the camera.

Magizh Thirumeni begins his next action

Magizh Thirumeni is elated with the response to his recently released film 'Thadayara Thakka' starring Arun Vijay and Mamta Mohandas. The director was appreciated for the execution of this action cum thriller with a gripping storyline. Maghizh who is happy about the success of his film has started to mull over his next film which will revolve around undercover cop and mafia. The director is busy doing his homework to understand the working style of a undercover cop. 

The next film will also be an action entertainer and the talks are on with the leading actors. The film will have two female leads and none of them have been finalized yet. The crew which worked with him in TT will remain the same.

Santhanam and Powerstar are said to team up for a new project. Santham who is ruling the roost in Kollywood as a comedian has agreed to work with Powerstar who has gained immense popularity among the youth with his out of the world speech and interviews. This crazy combination is all set to bring the house down with a full fledged comedy entertainer which has been titled 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya'. The remaining cast and crew are yet to be finalized.
