Vijay AR Murugadoss film titled Kaththi

AR Murugadoss has announced the film title of his upcoming film starring Vijay and Samantha in the lead roles. The film has been titled Kaththi (கத்தி). He tweeted, "Happy & delighted to announce the title of my project with Ilaiyathalapathy Vijay -"KATHTHI"

The team is currently shooting the fourth schedule of the film in Hyderabad. Two songs have been shot so far. Anirudh had recently scored a philosophical number for Kaththi. Madhan Karky who had penned the lyrics tweeted, "Recorded a peppy philosophical number with ARMurugadoss and Anirudh for actor Vijay’s project. Brilliant work by Anirudh."

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is playing the villain in Vijay 57. Vijay plays dual roles. Anirudh is scoring the music. The film is set to hit the screens for Diwali. The film is produced by Lyca Productions and Ayngaran International.
