Following the teaser of Suriya's 35th film Thaana Serntha Koottam that was released recently, the film's female lead Keerthy Suresh shared a picture of the team titling it as a wrap for TSK. She also reiterated the fact that the team is gearing up for a Pongal, 2018 release with her caption.  

Directed by Vignesh Sivan, the film seems to be on the lines of Akshay Kumar's Special 26 and has Suriya playing a con-artist. Produced by Studio Green, Thaana Serntha Kootam also stars Karthik, Senthil, Ramya Krishnan, Nanda, Kalaiyarasan, Sathyan and RJ Balaji with Anirudh for music, Dinesh Krishnan for cinematography and Sreekar Prasad for the edits.
