Mersal Editor Ruben takes a dig at GST scenes removal

Ever since Tamil Nadu's BJP wing has come out against the GST, Digital India scenes in Vijay starrer Mersal, support has been pouring in for the actor and his film from all over. While on one hand the Mersal Vs Modi trend is making a lot of noise, on the other editor of the film, Antony L Ruben made a startling revealition through his sarcastic tweet. Taking a clear dig at the news of producers agreeing to have the scenes removed, he wrote

"Adei Padathukku naan dhaan da editor-u #silaakkiDummaa"

which translates into English as "Folks, I am the editor of the film". Though there has been no official announcement from the producers on editing out the scenes, the whole debacle seems to have caught everyone's attention and has become the subject of constant media scrutiny.
