Atlee on directing Vijay again

In recent interviews post the grand release of Mersal, director Atlee has said that he'll always be ready to direct Thalapathy Vijay again and that he needs to get a subject which will soar higher than Theri and Mersal. Vijay is set to do a film with Murugadoss next, so the next likely Vijay - Atlee reunion may happen only in 2019.

Meanwhile we also hear that Atlee is getting offers to direct big Telugu superstars such as Mahesh Babu and Jr. NTR. The ball is in Atlee's court and he needs to decide what and with whom he'll be doing next. We can safely assume that he'll begin shooting for his next only towards the middle of 2018.
