Thalaivar 164 - Rajinikanth - Pa Ranjith movie titled Kaala

Admist the cloud of attention focusing on Rajinikanth's political aspirations (thanks to his strong statements), news about his upcoming movie which was tentatively titled Thalaivar 164 has yet again managed to break the internet. The film which is also set to be directed by Kabali fame Pa. Ranjith has been titled Kaala (Karikaalan). To be produced by Dhanush under Wunderbar Films, Kaala is said to have Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi playing Rajinikanth's love interest in the film.

The technical team of this film includes Murali.G for cinematography, Santosh Narayanan for the music and Sreekar Prasad for the edits. The crew is currently planning to shoot in the Dharavi location of Mumbai and the lead superstar is expected to join the location for about a month starting from May 28, 2017. Kaala will hit theatre screens in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi next year i.e. in 2018.
