Thoongavanam & Vedalam worldwide screen counts

The most expected Kamal Haasan's Thoongavanam and Ajith's Vedalam are all set to release worldwide on November 10.The tickets for both the movies are selling out like hot cakes. Let's check out how many screens have both the biggies managed to get worldwide.

Overseas: Vedalam gets higher screen counts than Thoongavanam in most of the countries. Vedalam also managed to open in some new locations like Poland, Ghana and Tanzania.

India: Vedalam is opening big in Tamil Nadu, the movie gets whopping 400 + screens in Tamil Nadu, while Thoongavanam will be releasing in 350 + screens. Similarly, in Kerala, Vedalam releases in 110 screens and has an edge over Thoongavanam, which is releasing across 80 screens. Due to unavailability of screens, the releases of Telugu versions of both the films  (Aavesham and Cheekati Rajyam) have been pushed by a week.
