The Three Musketeers of this flamboyant enterprise are definitely its cinematography, action and background score. It's a lavishly-told fairy tale that settles for style over substance. If you aren't looking for the latter, Tashan is all-revelry. (more)

Survival of the fittest

Tashan sinks under the weight of too much attitude, forgettable songs and lack of script. The actors try hard but it's impossible to infuse life into such mindless scenes. Only Akshay manages to ride above the debris...there is an actor in peak form.(more)

Akshay shines in a shoddy film

Tashan is strictly a timepass film. It wouldn't have been even that had it not been for Akshay. To put it in the film's parlance: The I like Tashan of the Akshay. I bet you that the plot of 'Tashan' is thinner than the waistline of Kareena Kapoor.(more)
