climax is hard to digest

The story works due to one person: Sridevi. She has a true flare for comedy. Her dialogues will make you smile, but unfortunately Akshay Kumar fails in this film. Due to the fact that we have seen him many times as a cop, his role is mediocre and his on-screen chemistry with Sridevi is missing. Other technical aspects that fail the film are: the horrible dubbing, the songs (editing very sloppy), and the overacting of the villains. To top it off, we are subjected to hear Sridevi call Akshay Kumar, �SAJANVA� (meaning DARLING), almost every 5 seconds (very annoying!). Even the climax is hard to digest.(more)

Superb entertainer

The story works due to one person: Sridevi. She has a true flare for comedy. Her dialogues will make you smile, akshay kumar is likeable in a light role.The songs are picturised very well .. special that ''goggel song'' and '' sub pyar mohabbat jhoot.. shoot'' in which sridevi try to shots akshay after every 10 seconds and eating a water melon like a mad cow because of her drunked condition. story screenplay, direction and acting all are a one.. I still feel very bad about the late release of this film and teh ignorance of audience due to late release impact. beleive you me this film is still a real and superb entertainer and u will enjoy each and every minute of it, a must see.(more)

It's cheesy, loud and ridiculously na�ve. But it captures the very magic of Sridevi in action. The lady rules.The movie wheezes to the finishing line. It's a truly bizarre ride, what with some talented actors, like Neena Gupta and Gulshan Grover, playing some totally arbit roles, and the story veering from hopelessly idealistic to just plain dumb. But if you're feeling nostalgic for a Chaalbaaz kind of flick, then risk being laughed out of town, and watch this one today.(more)
