Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi combine forces to deliver the weakest film of the franchise
The franchise's most popular star, Saurabh Shukla as Judge Sundar Lal, is still the best part of the film, lifting the lax, verbose proceedings. This time around, he has discovered the joys of a trim waistline, a dating app, and swiping right, resulting in a laugh-out-loud flirtation with a good-looking female cop (Shilpa Shukla). Neither Huma Qureshi nor Amrita Rao, on screen after a long gap, get anything to do: why have them in the film in the first place?(more)

The Real Star of This Courtroom Drama Is Neither Akshay Kumar Nor Arshad Warsi
Jolly LLB 3 suffers from an uneven screenplay that breaks the spell of tense, sombre moments by inserting gags. It is beyond banal that the audience still laughs at jibes like Genda, mota, and toilet humour.(more)

Akshay-Arshad bring charm but Saurabh Shukla owns the courtroom
the film could have done without a stretched intense song and that one rather jarring scene involving camels on a racing track. Rao's portrayal of a vindictive and shallow businessman lacks depth, but that seems more like a shortcoming of the script than the actor's. But otherwise, it packs a punch. The emotions hit hard, and you find yourself asking just the right questions.(more)
