Blending Indian Mythology with Superhero Spectacle

The visual effects (VFX) of the film deserve special mention for enhancing the narrative without overwhelming it, creating a visually engaging experience for the audience. The cinematography by Dasaradhi Sivendra and editing by Sai Babu Talari contribute significantly to the film's appeal. The music by Anudeep Dev, Gowra Hari, and Krishna Saurabh adds to the overall experience. If there's something that could have been better, its the pacing, especially in the first half. A tighter edit and shorter runtime might have improved the viewing experience even further. With solid storytelling, impressive visuals, and strong performances, the film successfully merges elements of mythology with contemporary action, offering a unique viewing experience in Indian cinema.(more)

Captivating tale of a superhero

Hanu-Man is an engaging superhero film that is high on goosebumps-inducing moments. The last half an hour, ample number of high moments, and the humor are the biggest assets of the film. Despite a familiar storyline, Prasanth Varma manages to hold our attention for the most part. The way Lord Hanuman is elevated with terrific dialogues and background score will strike a chord with audiences. Teja Sajja, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, and others did a good job. The movie gets dragged in a few scenes, and the initial half an hour could have been better. Nonetheless, Hanu-Man is a good watch this Sankanthi season.(more)

Teja Sajja's superhero film kicks off Prasanth Varma's cinematic universe

Prasanth does a good job of drawing you into the universe of Anjanadri. Anudeep Dev, Gowra Hari and Krishna Saurabhs music also helps with that, apart from Dasaradhi Sivendras cinematography. While the song Avakaya Anjaneya doesnt add much to the story overall, it is fun to watch Hanumanthu come unto his own while beating up some dacoits as a folk song plays in the background.`(more)

Impressive VFX compliments this unique superhero drama

Director Prashanth Varma earns some brownie points for skilfully weaving elements of mythology in a contemporary setting. Many filmmakers have lessons to learn from this young man on how to balance bhakti and entertainment. He also puts across a strong message that a superhero is not one with special power, but one who dares to stand up for the truth when he has nothing.(more)

Prasanth Varma Will Make You Roar 'Jai Shri Ram' Preparing For 22nd January 2024s Historic Event An Answer To Hollywood & Marvels Superhero Fatigue!

Prasanth Varma, take a bow! Its not only about achieving everything on a restricted budget; its also about fighting your way in the industry ruled by the super/mega/rebel/action stars. The way this man has been pretty chill with the screens/shows his film got down south only comes from the confidence he had in his content. This could be a Spider-Man moment for the Indian superhero genre & while the US slips deep into the superhero fatigue, Prasanth mightve just started the journey of superhero films in the country.(more)
