Good concept watered down by inconsistent writing. Casting Pawan Kalyan is a great choice, but that results negatively as the concentration is predominantly to satisfy his fans. On the other hand, Sai Dharam Tej cannot act to save his life.(more)

Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej film is meant for the fans only
The film gives the message that every human is a guest on this planet and has to utilise their time wisely so that they can leave without any regrets when their time is up. As long as Mark holds the belief that he is central to everything around him, nothing good comes his way. The God of Time tries to show him his folly, teaching him to let go of his ego and surrender to time. The film uses every opportunity to build upon the image and previous hits of Pawan Kalyan, using many of his old songs within the narrative. He also takes a few digs at the current political administration in Andhra Pradesh, supporting his own political identity.(more)

Bro Review
BRO revolves around Pawan Kalyan's impeccable performance. His fans will relish seeing their star hero excel in mature acting, complemented by the nostalgic touch of old songs. Powerstar's one man show
Bro is a fantasy drama that relies heavily on the performance of Pawan Kalyan. The star actor�s mannerisms and style will go well with fans. Sai Dharam Tej does a neat job, and a few of his scenes with Pawan came out well. The first half has some moments going its way. But the way emotions and drama is handled is not great. A few bland scenes will bog down the impact. Bro will appeal to fans, but for others, it will end up being an okay watch. Hence it is suggested to keep your expectations in check.(more)

Bro does not make Pawan Kalyan or Sai Dharam Tej do anything special. They merely go through the different emotional beats required of them. We have seen better from both of them. The subpar visual effects are also a dampener.(more)

Poor Writing
"Bro" has a promising start, and Pawan Kalyan's early sequences are entertaining, but the film loses steam as it becomes more routine. It also has plastic emotions. There is a lack of strength in the writing, and the important sequences feel rushed.(more)
