The villain returns but not without his share of hiccups
The performances in the film dont really stand-out, and most of the actors in their parts feel limited. If their characters had been better fleshed out, it could have probably given them more scope to rise in their individual performances. Ek Villain Returns dishes out plenty of twists and turns but doesnt make you emotionally cheer for any of the characters or the story, though you wish the situation was different.(more)

Cutting short a long story, by the end of it all, you only wish it would have been better if this villain didn't return at all. I mean who would have imagined that a script like this in today's time would make its predecessor look a much better film. (more)

A Pea-Brained Potboiler With Cringeworthy Performances
The film ensures that nothing that they get to do on the screen takes the focus away from what they are here for - their pretty faces and hot bods. Anything more would have required thoughtful writing and that is asking for too much.(more)

If This Was A Bollywood Villain, Hed Say "Khaayega Kela" Like Gunda's Ibu Hatela At Best
I dont want to hate films. There is money put in making them and efforts of hundreds of people. For the love of cinema and your bank balance, please invest in movies that are substantial and deserve to be made. Every bad film kills the commerce of a deserving one and that triggers the anger more than anything. Someone after the screening said this is a mass movie. Masses you need to ask for better, this doesnt deserve you.(more)
