Sarkaru Vaari Paata Movie Review
he idea of the final drama is exciting, but it is staged so badly and so the whole thing becomes pointless. Villain character is very weakly sketched, so the scope of an interesting cat and mouse game is ruled out. The emotional connect forms at the very end, even after the climax, the drama could�ve worked better if the sentimental backstory is revealed earlier in the movie. Certain dialogues are pretty good, the Viagra one at the end was so unique.(more)

Formulaic Narrative
Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a regular commercial movie made on a topical issue. The film entirely relies on Mahesh Babu's star power and charisma and the superstar gives his best to hold the show. It is a typical mass entertainer with a mixed bag.(more)

Mahesh Babu's film checks all the boxes of a commercial entertainer
Sarkaru Vaari Paata tries to shine the spotlight on bank loan scams and how the government lets down its own people when it turns a blind eye on those who�ve borrowed thousands of crores and failed to repay. The messaging works as long as the film's narrative doesn't get serious, but when it gets into lecturing the audiences, it gets slightly tiring to sit through. Parasuram does manage to keep the film largely entertaining, and even during the slightly sluggish second half, you get moments that hold the film together.(more)

Mahesh's one man show
Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a typical masala entertainer made for the masses and fans. The film runs on a typical commercial formula template and the songs and fights are an added bonus. Though there are no wow moments in the film, Mahesh Babu is in supreme form and carries the entire film on his shoulders making this film a decent watch.(more)

Mahesh Babu's boyish charm can't save this misfire
Director-writer Parasuram expects the audience to cut a lot of slack for the way he narrates the story of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The biggest compromise he expects us to make is to pay no attention to the film's structural issues, including a sense of time and place. The hero�s character feels constantly suspended in mid-air, owing to the mindless continental hoping. And it has robbed the movie of a sense of stability even though the subject that it discusses has a sense of urgency and reliability.(more)

Mahesh and Keerthy shine in this half-baked drama
Sarkaru Vaari Paata remains a half-baked commercial drama you can sit through mostly due to Mahesh and Keerthy's performances. Watch it if you've missed a massier version of Mahesh on-screen. Just don�t go expecting too much.(more)
