Not your run-of-the-mill crime drama
Palasa doesn't end up in the general utopian idea of transformation of the invasion of bureaucracy by Dalits, but definitely shows the path for a much-needed struggle for survival and to achieve equality.(more)

The strong script makes it a compelling watch
The climax isn't what you expect and you notice that none of the characters in Palasa are vulnerable, they are all strong. The pace of the film is fast, yet keeps the curiosity intact. This one is a compelling watch(more)
