An efficient, well-crafted mystery

There is so much clarity in the way it conveys each piece of information to us. This is the trickiest part of any mystery film. But Anjaam Pathira makes all the right moves. It's Midhun Manuel Thomas' best work so far.(more)

This Crime Drama Tries Too Hard

Anjaam Pathira might come across as a welcome change. Here you see a director breaking the cocoon he had made for himself, and trying to enter an unfamiliar zone, clearly inspired by a variety of sources ranging from David Fincher to the recent Kollywood hit Ratchasan. Only if this courage to reinvent one's career alone was worth a gallantry medal.(more)
