Kartik Aaryan, Tabu film wears its flimsiness on its sleeve
There's a lot going on the screen � actors hamming, actors playing the fool, actors trying to spook. No one's particularly interested in the whats or whys or the hows. For better or for worse, Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 exists confidently in this prized shaft of Hindi cinema. (more)

Kartik Aaryan-starrer holds its ground against the original; Tabu steals the show
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 doesn't bore you. It doesn't leave you in absolute awe of it either. It cracks you up quite often. Sometimes makes you question the logic of it all. But in the end, it's a family entertainer that doesn't walk on the crutches of slapstick comedy to make you laugh.(more)

Tabu towers over everyone in this Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani retread
There is a maze in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and one that is never satisfactorily resolved. How are the many, many people who inhabit it, young and old, and those rendered of indeterminate age courtesy the get-ups, related to each other? Even Monjulika, the ghost, back after 15-reel years � who picks up right up from where she left off, skulking un-lost through a monstrous and dimly lit haveli � may struggle to sort that puzzle.(more)

Kartik Aaryan-Tabu make it as entertaining as Akshay Kumar's Bhool Bhulaiyaa
Bhool Bhulaiyya 2 has the potential to charm the audiences back to theatres for the mainstream Hindi cinema. It's just that they need to take a horror-comedy at its face value and not what they thought it would be in their minds. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is an out and out entertainer and next in the line of typical Bollywood 'masala' films.(more)
