Soul-Less Saaho Is Tedious And Tiresome!

We hope only positive thing out of Saaho for Prabhas may be that it should relieve all the mounting expectations and pressure building up on Prabhas. After Saaho, Prabhas can now not try too hard to recreate the once in a lifetime, Baahubali magic, in every single of his future movies. He can now go back to the drawing board, feel lighter, unshackled from expectations and look for good scripts.(more)

Saaho's pioneering attempts in stunt sequences and graphics are praiseworthy. However, the story misses to naturally engage the audience

Saaho is well-directed with higher production values. Overall, Saaho is that kind of film where you wish you had a forward button, so that you can just watch the action set pieces and skip what's in-between.(more)

Prabhas tries hard in a film that is too silly to realise its ambitions

Saaho does't leave you with a high. In fact, it leaves you with the thought that it could've cut down on a lot of flab which include couple of songs. Saaho, in short, ends up as a film that never quite makes the intended impact in spite showing promise.(more)

Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor film is a Rs 350-crore disaster

The ending of Saaho hints at a sequel. If that's the case, please pray that it is better written and more cohesive. How will we saaho that otherwise? Apologies for the bad joke but that's all you're left with at the end of the film.(more)

Saaho is a missed opportunity with a juvenile narrative and weak story line.

'Saaho' attempts at being a potboiler that fires in all directions to entertain the audience. There are so many twists and turns that it leaves you more exhausted than excited. (more)

SAAHO Review

SAAHO suffers from a lackadaisical script and a vacuous screenplay. At the box-office, it is bound to have a huge start and a good extended weekend due to tremendous hype and the fan following of the lead cast but will face obstacles post the weekend.(more)

An unbearable watch!

Saaho is a completely mindless and unbearable film; one fails to understand how the makers poured so much money into it without any proper story.(more)

Extravagant, illogical and sluggish - a wasted opportunity!

The action sequences have been sleekly shot but at times just go on for way too long and there seems to be no logic behind most of them. Actually, logic seems to go for a toss, in most places. The songs are an entirely different story altogether. Though a couple of the songs are good, they are too many and very poorly placed in the movie's proceedings. The BGM is good but seems to be overpowering in quite a few places, especially the action sequences. The editing could have been far better and the overall length of the movie needs to be reduced by quite a lot. At a run-time of 2 hours and 51 minutes, Saaho is definitely sluggish.(more)

A Boring Action Thriller That Keeps Chasing Its Own Tail

Saaho has people who think they're the cat's whiskers in a story that thinks it is up for the Science Nobel. Prabhas is shown reading The Indian Express (as opposed to, say, The Times of India) and a Linwood Barclay novel between showdowns. At no point does it feel like he is vulnerable or tense or short of breath like the cinematic equivalent of Cristiano Ronaldo's gelled hair after a goal celebration. He looks smug even when he is sad.(more)

The Sum Total Of Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor's Film Is Zilch

Saaho may, like so many other shrill, gory actioners of the recent past, end up make pots of money. But that will not take away from the fact that it is egregiously turgid. A Telugu superstar attempting to break into Hindi cinema should have chosen better.(more)

A missed opportunity

Saaho is a missed opportunity for director Sujeeth who failed despite getting a perfect technical team, talented actors and massive investment.(more)

Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor's action drama aims high, but goes completely haywire

No amount of stunts and gun fights help the film to camouflage its flaws, and the screenplay itself is so boring that you are never engrossed. The drama is non-existent. All we get is a black box which we wish had never opened. Because the anticipation to watch Saaho was more worth the effort than the film itself. A big thumbs down.(more)
