Nannu Dochukunduvate is a passable laugh-a-minute riot with confident performances by Sudheer Babu and Nabha Natesh.
The enchanting parts may not come together to create a larger sum in Nannu Dochukunduvate, but the film is a riot when it sticks to humour and a passe, when it tries to give an emotional context to the lighter portions. (more)

Breezy Rom-com
Nannu Dochukunduvate is a typical romantic comedy which is narrated on a simple and entertaining note. Debutante Nabha Natesh leads from the front and wins you over with her standout performance. The film is aimed at the multiplex audience and not for the BC Centers who expect popcorn entertainment. If you ignore the slightly slower pace and predictable nature of the proceedings, this film makes up for a breezy watch this weekend. Go for it.(more)

A Contemporary love story which is good in parts
Sudheer Babu is on a song after he tasted a hit with Sammohanam. This time he has chosen to be the Producer of the movie and has also selected a contemporary love story with some freshness in the script. The first half of the movie is so fresh with humour and everything. But songs are the only minus. At the same time, the second half goes in predictable mode and we can see many routine cliches as we have seen in several movies earlier. The editing could have been better as some scenes are too lengthy.(more)

Romance and relationships with a dose of humour
Nannu Dochukunduvate gets its act back in the later portions, as it explores the bond between Karthik and his father, and Meghna and her mother. The parents on either side handle situations with pragmatism, without getting too emotional. Nasser has essayed several parts as a doting father but still brings in freshness into his portrayal and is convincing as the father who silently broods the void left by his wife.(more)
