A heartfelt Hangover

Like Pellichoopulu.. ENE also has a postlude sequence. It also tells us what these guys have become after few years which surprisingly connects back to Pellichoopulu! In the times of violence, hatred and opinions all over.. how good it is to see a film like this that doesn't offend anyone.. that is not judgemental.. that leaves its audience in rollercoaster of emotions belting in fun and tears of joy for two hours as it explores what friendship and love means to people! I wish there were many more filmmakers like Tharun! (more)

The message is clearly aimed at a section of youngsters who are constantly looking to climb an imaginary social ladder.

Make no mistake, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi belongs to Tharun Bhascker. The filmmaker's flair for comedy once again shines through and his dialogues are terrific. Do yourself a favour and watch this film this weekend and laugh your heart out. The film may not have the happy ending that you would expect, but coming from a man who hates clichs, you wouldn't want it any other way. (more)

Following your dreams can be hilarious too

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi is a lot of things rolled into one. It is a coming-of-age film, buddy comedy and a road movie, but it is mostly about a happy ending.(more)

Entertaining buddy Comedy

With Ee Nagarainiki Emaindi, Tollywood steps into the buddy comedy genre which has been rarely explored. This movie has no great story but is filled with a lot of fun and precious moments which a group of buddies share in real life. The film will surely click with the younger generation as it has good relatable entertainment. On the flipside, this film is clearly not for every section of the audience who are used to the regular set up. Barring that, we can say that Tollywood is changing rapidly and churning out these interesting films one after the other and this film is one of those. As said in the posters, do watch this film with your friends and have a good time. You will not be disappointed.(more)

Extended Short Film

"Ee Nagarikini Emaindi" with its slow pace and overindulgent scenes doesn't appeal to all, it is primarily targeted at the urban youth. Those who have not seen better buddy movies like "Dil Chahta Hai" may find this fresh, but for others, it is tedious watch.(more)

A buddy comedy worth watching

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi makes an effort to be another reminder that 'life's too short to live someone else's dream.' Along with this advice, Tharun also embeds 'don't drink and drive' message in almost every other scene in the film. I counted Karthik alone speaking this statutory warning at least two times(more)

Tharun Bhascker's buddy film is no Pellichoopulu, but delivers nonetheless

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi is fun while it lasts. At the same time, it expects you to keep up with its narrative and pace, and work towards understanding the motives of the characters. It's like a dream - you'll go through all sorts of emotions for a while - but once you wake up, youll only remember traces of that which you dreamt. But it does make a strong case to conquer your deepest fears - especially apprehensions about failure. You don't necessarily have to be a short filmmaker to understand that, but if you are, this is as close as anyone can get to telling your story.(more)
