Weak Kahaani
'Wife of Ram' has some gripping moments, fairly decent plot and a nice message, but it also disappoints in the end. It is far better than some of Lakshmi Manchu's recent movies but it is not as gripping as 'Kahaani' was.(more)

Strangely enough, for a film that has a run-time of just two hours, Wife of Ram seems like a stretch. At times, especially in the first half, the film bores you - never a good sign in a thriller. Lakshmi Manchu's sincerity holds together this occasionally gripping thriller
W/O Ram does not quite hit the right notes all the time, despite the effect it intends to achieve. However, the final stretch leaves you with a lot to think about. By then, nothing else matters, except for Deeksha and millions of women around the world. (more)

Undone by predictability
The point is, a make-believe format needs to be taut enough and deliver the surprise when it matters. Long before the end, it's easy to guess who�s behind the crime; that isn't a great sign of a thriller.(more)
