Aravindante Adhithikal can impress those looking for a nostalgic, vintage-style movie and those who strongly believe that a story doesn�t have to raise further questions.
What mars the film is the numerous forced scenes of comedy, especially the one in which the water tap breaks. Actress Urvashi's performance gives out such a feel in certain instances. A few of the proceedings post interval are too easily, sentimental yet predictable in a less exciting fashion. The ending too leaves many questions in the viewers' minds and one feels that at least an attempt to address them was made; the story would have been more convincing. (more)
