Hey Jude is a well made feel-good romantic musical
Girish Gangadhara's visuals shot mostly in the beautiful city of Goa is exotic and pleasant, making good use of lush and fertile landscape. Hey Jude is a musical, not the typical Kerala style but more of western. The background score is so aptly soaked along with the script that goes at a nominal pace.(more)

Nivin Pauly and Trisha are as poetic as a Beatles song
The best moment of the film is when Jude speaks about how he struggles to understand people and their emotions. His love for numbers comes from the fact that there is more clarity and truth in them than in people who smile even when they are sad and do not cry every time they are facing sorrow. The point that the film tries to make is that what is abnormal for you is normal to others.(more)

The Nivin Pauly and Trisha starrer is beautiful but slow
Shyamaprasad has overstretched the narration even as there was not enough material to support him. A crisp editing may have helped this film become more engaging.(more)
