Parole has the elements that would appeal to a family audience - action, drama and sentiments - but a taut script and trimmed first half would have made it an even more engaging venture. (more)

Mammootty is the saving grace of this melodramatic film

Sharrath has been consistent in maintaining a melancholy mood throughout the film. But, it leaves us wondering what was the need of Prabhakar's bad prisoner act? How did Kathreena die? Or why do all prisoners in this film look so happy like they are on a vacation?(more)

Parole has its moments, especially in the form of Mammootty's soul-stirring performance as Sakhavu Alex. But, the film doesn't rise above that. The film isn't a must watch but still, not a bad one either.(more)
