FUKREY RETURNS MOVIE REVIEW
The strongest aspects of the film are the performances. And once again, the scene stealer is Varun Sharma as Choocha, the affable weirdo with superpowers to watch bizarre dreams which win him a lottery. In this one, his powers have evolved, but sadly his mind hasn't and he still pronounces Goa as Goya and still can't get over the fact that Lali does not love him. The real surprise is the measured comedic performance by Pankaj Tripathi as Panditji, the scheming college watchman. With his terrific comic timing, he leaves you in splits in a majority of the scenes which he is in. The rest of the cast, too, have essayed their roles perfectly. The second half is plot-heavy and feels a bit stretched out. However, the jokes keep coming which make it bearable.(more)

Choocha's hilarious act saves this gritty comedy
The film funnily takes you back to the first Fukrey with few moments which are refreshing to watch. However, the twist in this one could have been executed in a better way, but it won't disappoint you either. Spend your weekend with 'Fukrey Returns' as it gives you a reason to laugh out loud.(more)

Retains The Magic Of First Part; One Of The Best Comedies
Fukrey Returns is one super-entertaining movie. Retaining the magic of the first part, this easily is one of the best comedies of the year. Tiger also plays an important role in the film so yeh Tiger Zinda Hai jab tak aa jaaye Tiger Zinda Hai.(more)

A silly endeavour to milk a fluke
Where most members of Fukrey Returns are as superfluous as its new, blah soundtrack, the whimsical troika of Sharma, Chadha and Pankaj Tripathi do their best to lift its plodding pace with their distinct brand of humour.(more)

Fukrey Returns is funny but its gnawing hollowness is impossible to ignore. It may as well have been a stand-up comedy show headlined by Varun Sharma instead of a film.(more)

No gain, only pain
Fukrey touched the raw nerve of a number of youths because they also fancied the idea of making quick money at a similar stage in life. It also highlighted the moral tussle without being too much in our face. These things together created a conflict which absorbed us.(more)
