The promise of a thriller that was made in the beginning of the film soon fades away as Unnikrishnan gets into a philosophical mood with the rest of the narration. The film begins to lose suspense when Mathew quotes Shakespeare's Lady Macbeth.(more)

Too many things happen in between, as if to divert attention away from the main theme. The track involving a drug lord goes off on another parallel, and is somehow connected to the main story, just for the sake of it.
