Movie Review

So director Sabbir Khan, whose third outing this is with the star-cub, continues providing formula for the intellectually challenged. But Tiger fans will have a field day with his breakdancing. In what seems like an encore of his previous work, Tiger dances like a dream and breaks bones with the grace of a ballerina. You can only tell that this is a different film only because he mouths a different dialogue here. It goes, "Munna jhagda nahi karta, munna sirf pithta hai." (more)

Tigers Moves Are Amazing But Not Enough To Save The Film

The film is just boring, barring Tigers dance sequences. It is particularly difficult to sit through the second half. The story takes a new twist in the second half but poor execution spoils it. The action sequences are good but they seem to be deliberately included in the film just to make it watchable. Too many action sequences also wont be able to save this film. Tigers dialogue, Munna Jhagra nahi karta, Munna sirft pitta hai, followed by some well-choreographed action sequences are repeated too many times in the film.(more)

Who cares about logic when you have dance, action courtesy Tiger Shroff?

Director Sabbir Khan and writer Vimi Datta have designed a film that is serviced by Shroffs two skills dancing and action. In spite of being predictable story with slack storytelling, Khan once again (Heropanti, Baaghi) showcases just what is needed to keep Shroffs fans satisfied.(more)

This Tiger Shroff film makes even Nawazuddin Siddiqui look bad

Sabbir Khan that the current year is 2017 and the film is looking like the glossier version of the 80s movies. So, he brings in the idea of dance face-off and a reality show. How would you fit in Tiger Shroff otherwise? How innovative! Taking a cue from MJs signature moonwalking to picking a dialogue from Wong Kar-wais Chunking Express, Sabbir Khan keeps trying to infuse Munna with traits that can strike a balance between Delhi and Mumbai. Its pretty simple math. Base the film in two biggest territories because that is what Bollywood does.(more)

This tribute to Michael Jackson is a shame

Sabbir Khan, who earlier made Kambakht Ishq, Heropanti and Baaghi has totally misunderstood the sensibilities of Indian audiences with this film. Munna Michael, however, is even a step down for his skills as a director. Though the movie has its own comical elements, even they cant help the film to survive.(more)

Movie Review

director Sabbir Khan is making masala films at a time when more and more filmmakers are jumping into the realistic cinema bandwagon. Also, getting Tiger and Nawazuddin together is a masterstroke. But at times the proceedings on screen are unconvincing. In the midst, there are scenes that are genuinely funny, action scenes that will excite the viewers and songs that are foot tapping. However, a better script couldve gone a long way in gelling all these elements together for a great masala entertainer.(more)
