A film which has its moments but lacks the thrill
Every actor has performed finely in the movie which could have been better if proper homework was done in the script. The fights between Asif Ali's and Narain's gang are fun to watch at times. Biju Menon's comedy timing successfully generates laughter and he delivers a decent performance. Lena also does justice to her character. Saiju Kurup's character did not have much to do in the story.(more)

A Well-made Entertainer!
Kavi Uddheshichathu is a decent entertainer that has its own moments. As mentioned above, the initial portions of the first half might give you a dull feel about the movie but later on, the film takes you for an entertaining ride. The second half of the film is the biggest plus of Kavi Uddheshichathu..? The volleyball tournament sequences have been well shot and woul give you all the thrills.(more)
