This 'DJ' will make you dance to his tunes!
Allu Arjun's stylish dance poses adds beauty to the movie. Tanikella Bharani and Rao Ramesh's entry is crucial. Pooja Hegde and Allu�s chemistry has worked very well. The second half is filled with emotional sentiments. Comedy scenes are excellent and the songs are the asset for the movie. Romantic scenes and action scenes have come beautifully. Harish Shankar has made a stylish movie to fill the shoes of Allu Arjun's demands and he has succeeded in it.(more)

Allu Arjun is a one-man army
In simple words, he is a vigilante. But, director Harish Shankar, who has also written the film, has failed to give a solid reason to justify what drives a teenager to kill criminals in cold blood and continue doing so for years. It seems like he overlooked the necessity of logic while writing this film, hoping that the fans would accept Allu Arjun anyway and without questioning.(more)

Decent mix of comedy and action
DJ is an out and out Allu Arjun film to the core. The star hero is a major attraction and carries the film with his energetic performance. Pooja Hegde's glamor, good comedy, and some mass elements will go supremely well with the masses. Collections wise, this film will do quite well as there is no big film coming up in the near future. Finally, if you ignore the routine story line, lag in the second half and keep your expectations in check, DJ ends up as a good watch this weekend.(more)

Not up to mark
It is a routine revenge story which doesn't reach the expectations. Even though a lot of elements have been added, except Allu Arjun and the music nothing stands out. It�s overall an average movie with limited comedy and unknown background story.(more)

Duvvada Jagannadham looks more like a Shankar kind film with added entertainment, but minus proper foundation in story. Plus points of the film are Allu Arjun�s superb performance, Pooja Hegde, Subbaraju�s delusional comedy, dialogues and action episodes (especially pre-climax where director mixes emotion in the fight). But, the climax is in lighter vein and it�s a kind of experiment. The likability of the film depends on how audiences gets convinced by the climax.(more)
