Works despite a little predictability!!!

An engaging revenge drama that delivers the goods. The one sided battle is what makes it a little monotonous(more)

An Appealing Revenge Drama! An unconventional, unique, revenge drama which will keep you engaged.

Even though the storyline is something we have seen before, director Jeethu Joseph has made Oozham a memorable movie experience with his different treatment style. It is surely a comeback for him after the disappointing Life Of Josutty. It is not a conventional thriller, which offers several twists and turns, but is surely a unique film which stands out with its making style. But, the movie lacks clarity at certain points and will leave you in doubts, at the climax.(more)

Perfect Hollywood style thriller.

The film works more in moments than in its entirety - the flawless settings and catchy background music engages you but then, some of the scenes are repetitive and the chronology of events can be confusing at times. As always in a Jeethu Joseph film, the supporting cast have been handpicked, and it's nothing short of brilliance from the part of the director to cast model Tony Luke for the part of the spoilt rich brat and Casanova. Tony seems to be born for the part, and steals the show with his class act in many a scene. But the explosion sequences seem amateurish and there are characters like the investigating police team which are left undeveloped.(more)

Oozham is no Drishyam by any means.

This one is not a nail biter, but is more of a clichd drama, with lots of emotions that becomes melodramatic at times and also with some good action sequences. Jeethu has focused mainly on some techniques and styles that works to a certain extent. But the problem is when the narrative gets predictable and then, the story is limited to the tussle between the hero and the villains. (more)

A revenge drama with few twists

Jeethu Joseph has avoided unnecessary scenes like romance and songs that would have ruined the all round feel of the movie. He has also kept the character away from too much melodrama and focuses on on just one topic- revenge without going out of topic. Instead, he shows certain family values and attachments any person would love to experience and watch. (more)
