Savitri is a film which is high on family emotions. Although, the film feels dragged at most places and story is ages old, the lead cast and overall theme manages to provide just about ok entertainment and can be given a shot if you have absolutely no options to explore this weekend.(more)

Overall, 'Savithri' will entertain you in parts !

The movie starts of on a high note and Nandhita's plans to get married soon are shown in a humorous manner. They are engaging too. Her intent to get married forms the crux of the story. The first half of the movie is completely laced with humour and it was so crisp. The screenplay was also engaging. But right from interval twist, everything is expected and second half mostly is filled with melodramatic scenes. Most of the scenes are a rehash of old movie(more)

'Savitri' fails to impress in any way.

Director Pavan Sadineni who has made a contemporary love story with "Prema Ishq Kadhal" has narrated this story in beaten to death way. His clich�d story and old-style presentation both have failed him. All in all, 'Savitri' fails to impress in any way. (more)
