Adi Kapyare Koottamani is average with a bit of perkiness
There is perkiness in the initial portions of this film but as we go forward, we realise that not much imagination has gone into developing this plot. We see elements of horror and suspense getting mixed up with humour. There is an effort to make the ending open to keep the options of making a sequel if this film becomes a success. But poor attendance in theatres make us doubt whether that would become a possibility.(more)

The film is a one-time watch for its humour and music.
There are scenes that drag on, such as the one in which the guys wait outside the bathroom as their new girl inmate takes a shower. While the song and one liners are supposed to tickle the audience, they aren't effective. The scenes hold together only because of Aju and Neeraj, who steal the show. Dhyan's dumb-guy act works in parts and falls flat in rest of the sequences.(more)

Shan Rahmans music was superb and it was really elevated the energy level of the film big time. But the visualization of that songs not really went well and it was a negative of the film. Ajay David Kachappillys DOP was also very good as well. In total. Adi Kapyare Koottamani is a fun filled decent entertainer which will make you relax at the cinema hall. Its like the comedies we saw in the 1990s which is simple and enjoyable.(more)
