he saving grace, in the not-so-sharp second half, is a seven-minute monologue done by Gogo, where he explains, no matter how hard you try, you can never please a woman! What's sad is that the squabbles between the men and their girlfriends lose steam as they are grossly exaggerated, repititive and puerile. In all fairness, this film may resonate with some masochistic sorts who like taking a whipping in love.(more)

Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is too immature to be funny

Luv Ranjan, going by the first Pyaar Ka Punchnama and this sequel, may well be a man who has lost all faith in the fairer sex (or, indeed, in their fairness), but the only question that must be asked of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is simply whether it is funny enough. (more)

This sequel is hilarious

The story as well as the plot twists are almost similar to those of the first film. Instead of making a sequel, they could have simply shown the same three boys and their foolishness four years ahead in life instead of giving them new names, making them into new characters. (more)

With very little novelty, it's a guy film about women bashing

Luv Ranjan manages to create characters than caricatures in a genre that doesn't really demand much attention. But if you go in expecting a few guy jokes, some sexist yet funny one-liners and a good looking ensemble then you won't be disappointed.(more)

Movie Review

Luv Ranjan also needs to be applauded for having written funny dialogues. The lingo that has been used in the film is straight out of real life, laced with some crackling and witty one-liners. (more)
