Synopsis/Plot : Wealthy Kishan (Amitabh Bachchan) and servant Bishan (Amjad Khan) are friends who grew up together in their small Indian village. Kishan goes off to the city to explore the wider world, but returns after several years to renew their friendship. Discovering that Bishan has become an accomplished singer, Kishan whisks him away to Bombay to apprentice with an established star. But just as Bishan is gaining fame, Kishan loses his fortune and so must resort to desperate measures to stay afloat.
