Mr Marumakan is as archaic as formula is to films and it is packaged as an old-school masala potboiler aimed at Dileep fans.

Mr Marumakan is a crowd-pleaser that knows exactly who its audience is. For die-hard fans of Dileep, this old-fashioned entertainer is a treat and delivers enough entertainment for your buck. First to marvel at how Dileep as an actor puts himself through what has become a routine task of undoing the same complex knots again and again as different characters, without ever showing a jaded nerve. Second to envy a script ridden with stale comic strips and yet claiming itself to be a hilarious rom-com.(more)
