Proprietors: Kammath & Kammath is the kind of comedy that will leave you with a frown on your face, by the time the end titles start rolling.
The film then shifts to Coimbatore and from then on food, hotel, municipality and everything else are forgotten as romance, emotions and action begins. It will all go on as if in an unending skit, in a highly predictable format. What were such gifted and experienced actors like Mammootty and Dileep thinking, while giving the nod to go ahead with such a lazily written script? Perhaps Tamil star Dhanush, who plays a cameo in the film, had inkling about the things to come, as he sleepwalks through his scenes with an evidently uncomfortable look.(more)

Proprietors: Kamath and Kamath is atrocious
Then the plot takes the 'damsel in distress' course in the second half with Rima Kallingal and Karthika Nair getting some importance in the plot. The climax is a free-for-all action in a typical godown. The lead pair shows inexhaustible energy, but nothing else. One almost feels sorry for them. Describing Proprietors: Kamath & Kamath as an atrocity on the viewer is no understatement.(more)

These Kammaths are for logic less fun
These Kammath brothers are strictly for those who relish masala entertainers with delight, those with an hunger for and swear by movies that defy logic, reason and intellect. And for others they will be a strictly okay fare, with some endearing moments mostly brought out by the intelligent use of the language and some not-too-charming ones, and some very predictable set -pieces.(more)
