'Ivide' may not be what is expected or even desired. But it sure is good cinema.

'Ivide' is a pleasurable watch with no jerky movements or over the top mannerisms. In its subtlety, it is very international in feel. he background score and music too maintains a good tempo throughout. And Gopi Sunder has got his craft right. 'Ivide' may not be what is expected or even desired. But it sure is good cinema. It has that deft Shyamaprasad touch. Though it may not do well in the theatres, 'Ivide' is one movie which can immerse you in the journey of life, which the movie deftly captures.(more)

Give it a chance, prepare to be patient, and chances are that it'll stay with you.

Ivide moves at snail-pace and the climax is a mess. But despite these small problems, this crime thriller is a far more accomplished than your average Malayalam offering. Every frame is crafted lovingly; the cinematography by Eric Dickinson is stylish and evocative. Gopi Sundar's two soothing numbers stay in your mind. In the end, Ivide has a lot going for it, even if it isn't as fully satisfying as Shyamaprasad's previous works. This is a sprawling, ambitious effort with remarkable attention to detail; a film that deserves to be watched, especially for its masterful film making.(more)

It begins with a series of murders in Atlanta, slowly moving on to introduce three characters - Indian-American cop Varun Blake, Roshni, who is separated from Varun, and IT professional Krish Hebber.(more)
