Fairly enjoyable film
The story focuses on how scoundrels use the social media to trap innocent and lonely girls and swindle them of huge amounts of MONEY.The narrative has some gaping holes, but one can ignore them as the subject is not dealt in a serious or profound manner.Oru Vadakkan Selfie is a fairly enjoyable film. Decent entertainer on the whole
There are some comic skits in the beginning that have been connected in an impressive way, which incidentally set the tone for the actual story that comes much later.Oru Vadakkan Selfie may not be a great film but manages to keep the viewers in good humour. It's just like some of those social media jokes; it is not to be taken too seriously. Grab a box of popcorn and enjoy this one!(more)

Worth a watch for the performance of its vibrant cast
Oru Vadakkan Selfie is two films in one. While its full-of-life first half is a humorous joyride depicting relatable life situations of an engineering college student, the second is a detective story. Set in locales popularized by Thattathin Marayathu and lining up more or less similar characters, one would feel it's a remix of the 'ummachikutty-loves-aimless-Nair' story. But midway, the film changes track into a thriller.(more)

This is a well worked out Selfie
The performance by the actors is the major highlight of the movie, with the amazing 'Maranamass' chemistry between Nivin Pauly and Aju Varghese worked out at best. It sure reminds us of Mohanlal- Sreeni combo of yesteryears.Shaan Raham is at his best when he is with the Vineeth team. His music for the songs and the BGM� are impressive and adds to the mood of the movie .All in all, this Vadakkan Selfie� is your vacation watch for sure, adorned with its immaculate energy and fine transitions in narratives. Also with a wise message tagged upon the interesting sequences, the movie is sure to end up as another hit from the team.(more)

A Hilarious Flick from Nivin Pauly-Aju Varghese Team
Performance by the actors is the major highlight of the movie, especially that of the amazing chemistry between Nivin Pauly and Aju Varghese. The comic timing of both the actors reminds you of some of the classic comedy combination of Mohanal and Sreenivasan.The songs of the movie composed by Shaan Rahman are surely going to be yet another success story and the BGM has also been impressive.(more)
