Sunny all the way
unny Leone is given top billing. Her name features all alone in the credits, she has a double role, she has the maximum skin to show. To her credit, she is comfortable in her skin, uses her innocent looks and come hither moves to the right advantage and ensures the public gets what they came for - cheap titillation. What the film does is not make the titillation too base, shooting the intimate scenes with a little dose of finesse that prevents Ek Paheli Leela from slipping into downright grade A rated flick. Catch it for Sunny, and nothing else. This might just be the peak of her career. (more)

Ek Paheli Leela is supposed to be a musical and ironically the film has only one good song.
Spare yourselves from this yawn fest! An atrocious story filled with some terrible performances and soft porn. This is one Paheli you dont want to unriddle.(more)

Ek Paheli Leela is simply not worth it.
That is the vein in which this vapid yarn about love, desire and obsession unfolds against good-looking backgrounds, competently filmed by cinematographer Bashalal Syed. But the pretty frames and the buxom female protagonist work at cross-purposes. They come in each other's way. What you choose to focus on - the sexy siren who apes everybody from Zeenat Aman to Aishwarya Rai or the visual compositions that caress the natural beauty of the locales - will determine what impact Ek Paheli Leela will have on you. Feel free to have your pick. But to be honest, spare yourself the trouble. Ek Paheli Leela is simply not worth it.(more)

It's strictly for Sunny Leone fans!
espite the high points, there isn't any shortage of speed bumps in this reincarnation drama. Even if we toss logic and reason out of the window, how can one explain Meera's odd behaviour of resorting to anti depressant pills to combat claustrophobia. Even though the film swings between two different periods I wasn't quite convinced how many times we were asked to suspend our belief. A lot of supporting characters pop up just cause they were signed up for these roles. Editing is shoddy and the second half drags into a climax that is super cliched. Mohit Ahlawat is a let down and unintentionally funny in most scenes. VJ Andy and Ehsaan Qureshi's funny act is barely entertaining. (more)

All the film wants to do is exploit Sunny Leones awe-inspiring stack, Zero Star
Why, in fact, pretend towards a plot, when all this film wants to do is to exploit its leading ladys awe-inspiring stack? From as many angles as possible, the closer the better? Who gave Indias Babydoll reason to believe that she could go beyond sone di and pittal di with this bilge? Wh.. Ah, hang it. One last, and Im done playing twenty questions. All I really want to know is, who will give me my three precious hours back?(more)
