Injustice to its iconic prequel!
hough Nana tries his best but is not able to save this drowning ship. His screen presence as always is magnificent and he tries very hard to make sense with the poorly written lines. Gul Panag and Ashutosh Rana are just average and offer nothing new or iconic. Rest of the cast lacks in terms of performance. Ab Tak Chhappan 2 is not even for die hard Nana fans. If you want to watch it, go buy a DVD and watch Ab Tak Chhappan again.(more)

Nana Patekar tries to hold it all together with an alacrity and prudence that deserves a Denzel Washington framework. Keeping his head high is the best he can do in the face of predictable easy targets and turncoats. It�s time to stop keeping score.(more)

ATC2 can be watched, if you are a diehard Nana Patekar fan. On second thoughts, watching the original again would be a smarter move.
Your heart goes out to Nana Patekar, who resurrects his role as an encounter cop and in doing so, lends utmost authenticity to his character. As a man torn between his duty as a cop and responsibility as a father, he singlehandedly strives to salvage what appears to be a poor remake of the gripping original (Shimit Amin's Ab Tak Chhappan, 2004) with his tremendous screen presence.ATC2 can be watched, if you are a diehard Nana Patekar fan. On second thoughts, watching the original again would be a smarter move.(more)

Ab Tak Chappan 2 misfires
Some portions of the film are very well shot but nothing is put together well enough to make it a compelling watch. Nana Patekar is good but was better in the first part. Gul Panag plays a crime reporter but the poor writing makes her character a complete misfit. Ab Tak Chappan 2 is a pointless film. It's a film that shouldn't have been made in the first place. It misfires! (more)

Nana Patekar fan, still you won�t enjoy it so to avoid tampering his image don�t watch it.
Well, Nana Patekar makes a come back in Bollywood. The 64 year old star does full justice to the film but cannot help the other elements falling apart.(more)

Was Nana Patekar's film directed by schoolkids holding cameras?
Ab Tak Chhappan 2 is not nearly bad enough to be an entertaining so-bad-it�s-fun drinking game. This film is what Satya 2 was to Satya - a massive waste of time. And if Shimit Amin sees what they did to his legacy, he�ll probably pull an encounter on everyone involved with this film.(more)
