Temper is the kind of film where the reel and real life persona of its lead actor, NTR, merges seamlessly and in the end, that's the only thing that matters.
There's a scene in Temper, where NTR, who plays a corrupt cop Daya, goes through an emotional upheaval. He doesn't know what he is doing and his silence shocks everyone around him. Moments later, tears trickle down his eyes and finally, his associate Murthy (Posani Murali Krishna) salutes him. And what happens next will blow your mind, quite literally. Daya goes berserk and bashes up the goons in the police station and soon, you realise that he has found a purpose to reinvent himself. At this precise moment, you can't help but wonder if NTR, the real actor, finally found a purpose to unleash the cinematic beast that has been dormant deep within his sub consciousness for a while now. He does just that and how!(more)

Go and watch it!
Temper is a film about bad guy reforming himself. The episodes of bad guy are entertaining and episodes of good guy are intense. NTR plays the unique role of villain/hero in this film. Puri Jagan has brilliantly used supremely talented NTR to deliver a powerful film in the form of Temper. In spite of some illogical scenes and inconsistencies, Temper is one of the best movies of Puri Jagan and has the best work of NTR. On the trade front, Temper will be a huge hit with serious chances of breaking records.(more)

Jr NTR is back with a bang
Kajal looks good and so does Madhurima. Posani Krishna Murali provides a few laughs as Jr NTRs sidekick. Ali and Sapthagiri are wasted. Madhurima, JP and others are passable. Anup Rubens music is okay and Mani Sharmas background score is fantastic. Sam K Naidus cinematography is eye catching. Vakkantham Vamsi who has written the story should have added more spice in the first half which tends to drag a bit. But the twist in the latter half makes up for it.(more)

A much Needed Release for NTR Fans
The movie leaves one with an unusual feeling, like it seems that the movie is okey-doke, but there is so much of rawness about it, and it did contribute with some boring moments to add to the already monotonous life. The movie should have been clearer in what it tries to accomplish. Its power is the Police and the twist about the murder mystery in the end, which should have been further explored - here, the investigative side is too weak. On the whole, Temper is not entirely bad and it's modeled on the kind of films, which are popular a few years ago. But then it can be watchable for climax and Jr. NTR new dimension. The first half, Songs and Puri's philosophy disappoints bigtime. This could have been better than Pataas, but still it isn't. (more)
