Ddirector Nikhil Advani creates a similar effervescent ambience as the original, bubbling with the energy of its young debutants. Nikhil makes the narrative contemporary without turning it into a ramshackle (an inevitable fate of classics, when remade). The film has so much going in its favour, that the screenplay glitches can be pardoned.(more)

Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty manage to shine despite a weak script!

A remake of the 1983 Jackie Shroff- Meenakshi Sheshadri film, the story has been given a 2015 makeover. The core elements remain � warring families, puppy love simmering against a bloody backdrop with musical numbers that showcase two newcomers. (more)
