Hawaizaada Fails to Fly.

Ayushmann Khurrana talent is wasted because of the weak script. As a Marathi speaking guy, Ayushmann was average but the character he overdid it. Some nuances which he picks, are more closer to a Charlie Chaplin or a mentally challenged kid than the genius scientist he hopes to portray. Pallavi Sharda needs some serious acting lessons apart from that pretty face of hers. Mithun da is the saving grace of the movie. Rest of the star cast is just average or below it. In all its a good plot wasted and its better to skip it.(more)

Hawaizaada, in the end, is a flight of fancy that fails to take off.

Too much attention to detail has been paid, if there ever is such a thing, to everything but the script. The china used in the film is a little too ornate for its period, the mad scientists abode is so fantastical, it works as a piece of great magical realism but takes away a great deal of the storys credibility.(more)

Hawaizaada to becoming Ishaqzaada.

Thanks to this film, there will be ample of people spamming Google to learn about the unsung hero Shivkar Bapuji Talpade and his aviation discovery. Also the design team of the film will have to be credited for their work since re-creating the 1800s had to be a task.(more)

Ayushmann flying around in a Batsuit is nonsensical and boring

Hawaizaada claims to be the story of Shivkar Talpade, a Maharasthrian scientist from the 1860s, who supposedly built the worlds first unmanned aircraft, almost a decade before the Wright brothers. The film should have been called Hawe me zyada, because it takes a ton of creative liberties to dole out a completely fictional story using a real person. That is still permissible, because historical movies seldom follow facts in a bid to make the story more entertaining. What isnt acceptable is that Hawaizaada is the most excruciatingly boring movie weve seen in recent times.(more)
