Avoid like the plague.

There is little one expected from this film. Arshad delivers and gives in another reliable performance but then how many times more can we see him do the same thing ? Jacky too doesnt disappoint he is as bad as one has known him to be . hamming along to glory he manages to haunt us once again. Lauren is the female attraction in this film but has very litle to do on screen. Rest of the cast is on a paid vacation and has not really bothered to act. Bad music weird editing choppy narrative the list of things wrong with the film is endless. One wishes there was something at least that would warrant a watch in the cinemas but sadly nothing rises above the lack lustre trailer of the film. (more)

Only the foolhardy would underestimate Bollywood's ability to do worse, but it is unlikely that you will see another film this unabashedly daft this year. Resist the itch.

Welcome 2 Karachi passes off locations in Bradford for the streets and bylanes of Karachi. In a bizarre sequence that perfectly sums up the film's warped worldview, agents from India, Pakistan, Israel, Palestine, the United States and China have a go at each other with their weapons and tanks. All this unfolds on the road in front of the Indian embassy in Clifton while our two protagonists cower like scared rabbits in a corner around the building. The audience, too, cannot but cringe. Going by the logic of Welcome To Karachi, it wont be a good idea to travel inside Pakistan without a gun.

Arshad Warsi is known for his comic sense but Jackky Bhagnani can surprise you with his understanding of subdued comedy in some of the scenes. Its a mindless film, but with some great fun-filled moments. Going by the logic of Welcome To Karachi, it wont be a good idea to travel inside Pakistan without a gun. But, cinematic liberty suggests us to overlook such things and then Welcome To Karachi becomes a one-time watch.(more)
