Power title has aptly suited the body language of Ravi Teja.

A huge amount has been spent for Power movie Film unit say that Hansika and Regina have displayed their assets in competition. The team is fully confident and moving ahead with the release even when Aagadu is approaching just after a week. Thaman has already impressed the mass crowd with his beats. If the story is good, his mass image will look after everything. Let us hope Ravitejas Power will entertain his mass fans and all other movie lovers(more)

Powerless Entertainer...

The biggest reason why Power is a big disappointment is that there is no surprise element in the film. One could easily predict the entire plot of the film. But director Bobby cant be blamed for this let down. He worked for a similar kind of film with Raviteja (Balupu) and was successful. To look for mainstream plot, esthetics or treatment in Power is pointless. It is shamelessly commercial. On the whole, even if you are a big fan of no-brainer commercial entertainers, we would suggest you to watch Power on home edition.(more)

Power Story of a corrupt but powerful cop

Power is going to end up as an average entertainer for Ravi Teja. A strong first half is a good asset for the movie but a below par second half spoiled the overall experience somewhat. Hansika and Regina add glamour to the movie. Business wise, the movie will have a tough fight as Aagadu is getting ready to come in a weeks time.(more)

A commercial pot-boiler that boils way too hard to tell a story

Prominent screenplay writer K.S. Ravindra aka Bobby debuts as a director for this overpoweringly happy, masala-commercial movie that somehow ends on a very happy note in spite of all the emotions that are to be justified, before the movie gets over.Ravi Teja garners great applause for comedy and emotional sequences always. Here, does it in style. Made on a lucrative budget, Power is a typical Telugu film stencil with patience testing songs and over the top action choreography. Through this film, what we learn is, anybody, anytime can easily become a cop, can fire a gun more than the number of bullets it actually has and drive a bullet by not touching it. Eye candies Hansika Motwani and Regina Cassandra come for the songs. S.S. Thaman's signature tune for Ravi Teja's slow walk in the film is all that was on the background score department. Songs make less impact. (more)

Overall, a regular commercial potboiler,Lacks punch but okay movie.

Performance wise Ravi Teja shines as Baldev Sahay. He looks dashing. He gives full justice to the role and this is one of the best parts of the film. As Tirupathi , Ravi Teja is okay. But one must say, there is hardly any difference in the looks of both the roles. The leading women Hansika and Regina has nothing much to do apart from looking good and supplying glamour to the film. The first of the film provides us with some good laughs. Brahmi, Sapthagiri, Ravi Teja and Hansika do a good job, making us laugh. Post interval the movie loses its power. There is nothing novel about the movie. We have seen each scene before. It is a concoction of several movies. The director has done a pretty good job with the first half, but the second part and the climax are pretty poor. Songs come and go and none of them impress.(more)

Since Power falls into the typical commercial entertainer genre, all departments are well taken care of

Story of an honest cop is a sure-shot hit at the box office, providing it has ample doses of action and entertainment. Power has enough action and romance. Still, it fails to touch the hearts of the audience. The director tries to make a classic masala dish out of Power. But the problem is that it has very little salt.In all, Ravi Teja fans will be happy watching him play yet another mass character. But Power lacks that extra something which makes for a successful, racy commercial entertainer.(more)
