Alludu Seenu in one word - 'package'.
VV Vinayak returns to his familiar territory with Alludu Seenu sans the usual verve that's seen in his movies. Yes, there's Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj, Ravi Babu, Vennela Kishore and a host of other reliable actors to save the day in the end, but the film's lacklustre plot leaves a lot to be a desired. Coincidentally or not, Alludu Seenu feels like Rajakumarudu meets Naayak and a million other films. In fact, Ben Affleck's Argo isn't spared either from this never ending list of 'influences'. It is a million dollar question how a film, which had enough resources and brains onboard, could feel so insipid and sluggish.(more)

Minimum Guarantee content
Alludu Seenu is a formula-driven script that caters to all sections of audiences and it corporates all kinds of emotions. VV Vinayak brand value and Bellamkonda Sureshs publicity for this film are the main reason for good openings for the movie. The plus points of the film are casting, songs, cinematography and production values. On the flip side, a more contemporary treatment and narration would have made it a better film. Brahmanandams comedy worked towards end. Vinayak is known for connecting with masses with his content. We have the wait and see how Alludu Seenu connects with masses with its time-tested, yet minimum guarantee content! (more)
