ENTERTAINMENT is a joy ride that lives up to its title. Go, laugh out loud and get entertained!

Akshay returns to the comfort zone [comedies] and expectedly, is charismatic, charming and vibrant. His faultless comic timing coupled with the enthusiasm with which he goes through his part is worthy of immense praise. Tamannaah is endearing and though shes paired with Akshay for the first time, they compliment each other wonderfully well.Dalip Tahil, Darshan Jariwala and Vrajesh Hirjee are okay. Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade and Remo DSouza appear in cameos. The pet, a Golden Retriever named Junior, is simply adorable. (more)

Watch It For Akshay Kumar!

The film shows different ways Akshay and other stars try to get the property from Entertainment. The movie has a nice blend of comedy, confusion, entertainment and drama. Who gets the entire wealth is a mystery which will get solved once you watch the movie (more)

Entertainment is one of them and take harebrained to another dimension altogether!

Entertainment serves trash in the garb of entertaining you. As competent as I think Sajid Farhad are, their filmmaking skills doesnt reflect their prowess over good writing. Jokes kept flowing thick for the first 15 minutes and everything after that was drab. How many times can you laugh over the Tere toh Jacqueline lag gaye (prototype) joke? Akshay doesnt even near funny as he beats Salman in sleepwalking through roles(more)

Entertainment is a bagful of boring tricks.

Entertainment does have some well-meaning attempts to give a better status to dogs than Bollywood has bequeathed them. For instance, insult the villain by calling him a dog and scream, 'Kutte, Main Tera Khoon Pee Jaaoongaa'. But its impact is limited as the leap from comedy to drama is jarring, mawkish and unconvincing. Some of the one-liners are downright offensive (more)

Entertainment is best when it isnt trying to force laughs out of us with its desperate attempts

Akshay redeems himself in the second half by relishing Entertainments out-dated filmmaking in a tone that is reminiscent of Mr and Mrs Khiladis Bache Ki Jaan Lega? Theres genuine affection in him for the dog and it lends the otherwise hollow Entertainment a stroke of emotion. Sajid-Farhads first film is mostly a garrulous, occasionally comical farce that intermittently serves as reminder that in the search of entertainment, entertainment, entertainment one can always rely on the delightfully loony Johnny Lever.
